Rex ran back towards her, jumping on her back,"Come on, what's got you so tense, did you miss me that much?" He licks the back of her neck,"Don't worry, i'm here to stay this time."

Raeylin saw him running at her, ducking and spinning, she rolled with it. Throwing him harmlessly to her side, tail flicking she smiled "I hope so.." She was much smaller then him, but just as fiesty.

Rex rolled over next to Rae, "Do you think Sic and D will take me back into the pack?"

Raeylin looked at him, "Not a doubt in my mind..D'Artagnan may be a little grumpy that you left, but he'll get over it.." She stated, optics glancing up to the mountains in a curious fashion before looking back at Rex.

The scent of others came wafting back to a dark brute's keen nose. It had been a while before he had scented others here, these lands had a ghostly ring to them, and the male didn't know the reasoning behind it. Everything seemed to have a sad air about it, even now it still remained. Deciding to follow the trail that lead to the others he wondered what he might find. He padded softly, keeping low and silent, downwind. Large paws aided his pace, and his dark fur made ideal camouflage. Pressing low to the ground, he listened for any voices. Two came back to him, a male and a fea. Crouching further until the two became in view, he watched them. One was large, slightly more then he, the other was quite smaller, obviously the femma. His orange optics stalked them, watching, waiting.

Rex scanned the area with his dark optics, spotting only minor rustlings in the bushes around him,"Are D and Sic up in the mountains?" Rex inquires, thinking it's just D and Sic trying to suprise him.

Approaching the wolf from behind, Chai couldn't help but wonder why the brute was watching Rex and Raeylin. Though she doubted he would try and attack her, seeing as Rex and Raeylin was there as well, she kept her guard up just in case. Curious as she was, Chai didn't say anything as she watched him not too far in front of her as he stalked the others.

The brute's ears twitched back at the sound of another. How did she get so close unnoticed? He turned, fixing bright orange eyes upon her figure. It was almost as if one could see his mind working, his ears flicking back to the two behind him. It would be unwise to attack, especially with the other two, undoubtedly pack mates. Instead he approached her, a slow grin spreading across his muzzle. "Hello there." The soft light shimmered on his dark fur, contrasting highly to his white underbelly.

Chai stood her ground, not intimidated by him in any sense, though the grin made her want to leave. "Hello," she replied stifly. Small talk wasn't what she was after. More importantly, she wanted to know what he wanted. "You seem pretty courgeous to be stalking them, wouldn't you think," she added a bit defensivly. Then again, she was always defensive.

D'Artagnan stared blankly over the range, head snapping behind him as the sound of crunching snow. Lips writhing back for a moment as he looked around furiously. Tail flicking, he gave a small grunt of dismay. His head turned back to the side, only for his jaws to snap open and clamp down on a white wolf. Rei let out a shriek of pain, causing D'Artagnan to clamp harder. D'Artagnan noticed it was Rei, letting go he backed up. "Every time!" Rei remarked, watching a small stream of crimson emit from his coat. D'Artagnan sheepishly looked away, his broad frame seemed to sink closer to the snow. "What do you want?" he muttered, his strong alpha like personality deteriorated. "You've been up her for moons!" Rei exclaimed, sitting down in the snow. "What's wrong with you? Hmmm?" He provoked. D'Artagnan looked blankly at Rei, "I'm fine.." "Fine? As in...Fucked up, insecure, neurotic, and emotional?" he inquired. Tilting his head. "Maybe, you should go back down...You were alpha, you had wolves that would die for you if you gave them the command..." D'Artagnan looked at the sky, it seemed to be darkening. Either night-fall or a storm. His yellow optics traveled to his brother, then the snow. "I can't go back; I've already messed things up..." "Ho-" Rei started, being shut off by D'Artagnan. "BY SHOWING UP IN THE FIRST PLACE!" he snarled, ears flattening. Rei jumped, backing away from the furious D'Artagnan, he lay submissively in the snow. "Sicarius and Rex would've been fine!" "FINE?!" Rei exclaimed, "If it wasn't for you! Shaytan would have slaughtered them! He would've killed Rex and Raeylin slowly and forced Sicarius to become his mate! D'Artagnan! You saved them!" " I didn't save them...remember? I was knocked un-conscious by that demon!" Rei looked at him, ears flattening as he shook his head. "Sicarius saw something in you...other wise she would've left you alone and found someone else. But, fine...if you want to stay up her and mope around..be my guest.." With that, the white wolf shot him one last glance, before turning and walking away.
D'Artagnan watched his brother stalk off until he became one with the snow. He relaxed, head dipping pathetically down. "He's right.." The wind picked up, sending a shiver down D'Artagnan's back. His golden eyes flicked up to the mountain side.
~~~
Raeylin's ears flicked open, the small multi-colored wolf gave off a new air of panic. Quickly, she began looking around, desperately trying to find this stranger. She picked up Chai's voice and another's.
((My crappy post..I need to put more detail into it >.>))
As the wind picked up a light shadow appeared. "Hello D'Artagnan." The figure spoke in a female voice that carried in the wind. The femma seemed to be shrouded in thick layer of fog, her white pelt having a grayish tint. Smiling softly, she fixed her pale green eyes on the dark brute. "You are too hard on yourself, there was nothing you could have done." she continued soothingly. "They need you."
The brute's smile disappeared, he was growing irritable. "Pretty little thing, aren't you?" he said, lowering his voice in to a sly whisper. "And from what I've heard this 'pack' doesn't need any courage to stand up to." He smiled again, and brought his attention to the approaching female just out of earshot.
Rex leaps up, slinking to the ground around the terra, he sniffs out the air, trying to find the sources of this weird vibe from the air around the terra. Walking toward the river, he dives in, not wanting to stay out of the now refreshingly cold waters, his body telling him that the vibe was from him, that he was just getting back into the terra,"I've been with my brother for almost 5 months, hunting and roaming the mountains for that blasted wolf that killed his fae, and what do we find? A whole pack of wolves, and my brother, being the stubborn one, goes running in, killing everyone BUT the wolf he was looking for, then, to top it off, leaves me to deal with him, and it turns out that he never killed her, only knocked her unconcious and ran off with her."
Chai growled lowly at the brute, "Watch it," she remarked quickly, not at all happy with his remark. If he was smart, he wouldn't be picking a fight, especially when he was out numbered.
Quirking an eyebrow, he looked at her smaller form amusedly. "You should be careful, you never know who may be watching you." he smiled wryly, whispering in her ear slightly as he passed her, carefully positioning himself so the others couldn't see him talking to the fea. Pointedly, he looked at her, and for a brief second his eyes flashed a bright orange, a fiery inferno ablaze behind them.
Despite his larger size, she wasn't one to be messed with, especially when it came to personal space. Without responding to his comment, she snarled, turning to face him. "Watch it," she growled lowly, not wanting to have him anywhere near herself.
